My stay at the Clarion Suites Downtown was fantastic. The rooms were more like apartments, with a separate living area, kitchenette, and spacious bedroom, which I found lovely. However, a few free weights would have been a nice addition to make it even better. The service was a mix of experiences; while I wasn't informed about the lack of hot water for two days, the staff immediately assisted us during a medical emergency, going above and beyond to ensure our well-being. The location was great for exploring Anchorage and ideal for both sightseeing and business, despite some minor inconveniences like closures. As for the dining options, they were decent, but a bit ordinary tasting. The facilities were satisfactory, though nothing extraordinary.
